QR codes for events and tickets
Tickets, passes and schedules people cannot lose. Change what a code points at right up to the morning of the event.

Where it helps
Tickets and passes
One code per attendee on a printed or emailed ticket, scanned at the door.
Programmes and schedules
A code on the badge or lanyard leading to the live schedule, so a room change does not mean reprinting anything.
Add to calendar
An event code drops the date, time and location straight into someone's calendar app.

Questions
- Can a code be used only once?
- Not yet — single-use codes are on the roadmap. Today every code can be scanned any number of times, which suits schedules and information rather than admission control.
- Will codes scan in a dark venue?
- Phone cameras need some light. Print dark on light rather than the reverse, and keep the code away from coloured stage lighting.
- Can I change the venue after printing?
- With a dynamic code, yes — update the destination and everyone who scans sees the new details.
